This is my second Proctor Silex K2070 electric kettle. I love that it is automatic holds just enough water and it's safe and easy to use. cools in seconds. i simply love this kettle.then again, it's proctor silex they are known to produce great products.
This little kettle is great. I have been using it daily at home. It's quick, gets steamy hot, and doesn't take up much space. It's so great that I'm ordering one for my office, too.
It is tiny in size, so doesn't take up much counter space at all. This electric water kettle is perfect for my basic needs of boiling water, especially for my tea. It is simple and not very sophisticated but gets the job done. It heats the water up quickly and stays warm long enough to pour a second cup of tea without re-heating. I am very satisfied with this purchase.
It holds enough water for a few cups of tea. This kettle is not very expensive and is perfectly adequate but not great. It has no base so must be plugged/unpluged to take to the tap. It takes quite a long time to boil. It's also pretty flimsy feeling. We bought it because we're only here for 3 months and buying anything but the cheapest seemed a bit silly. If I wanted a longer-term relationship with my kettle I'd probably get something a bit more sturdy/faster to boil/with a base to avoid fiddling with the wire.
It serves my purpose. I wish it was a portable pot but it serves very well.
